this one is technically my wife's bike. she 'let's' me; set it up, ride it and do all the maintenance, when she feels like riding though i have to return it to a commuter again. i put the rear rack on( w/ bags) re-mount her seat, and adjust to her specifications.
in the mean time i ride it on the road/paths and use it to drag the trailer with the children. last year i set it up for cyclocross and used it for a particularly hilly course. i like gears sometimes, i might use it for endurance events in the spring, wide tires, comfortable seat, lights and big toolkit, that's what i'll need for an unsupported 105 mile randonnee.
specs: stock gearing 3 up front, 8 in the rear, sora group, cantilever brakes, bell lap cx bars, 700x26 tires.
