so i decided that peak oil is a good thing for me, whether or not it is good for the economy. some would say i'm dreaming others would say something else. I think of the people that could benefit from peak oil and the ensuing panic. should we encourage or even foment that panic or just plan on it happening and just get on with it.
i'm going to remain flexible, if it comes to this, i will wait in gas-lines and submit to rationing without protest. I may need to grow more food and repair more household products. I sure hope we get more electric trains that will run on power power produced in natural gas and nuclear power plants. yes, my bicycle will be the most reliable form of transit. But how will i get to the bike races?
