bike culture is a meaningless characterization created to artificially divide 'us' from 'them'
or to restate there is no bike culture or subculture.
get over yourself you self righteous bastards that think roadies are different from mountain bikers or bmx is better than all the rest, or commuters are novices or messengers are a stain on the scene, or tri-athletes are maggots(btw,they are)....enough already.
.... if it has two wheels and it's human powered it's a bicycle and the rider is a biker.
